Facilities in the Memorial Hall

The town is administered from its office in the Memorial Hall in Old Street. There is a main hall capable of accommodating 200 people, the Council Chamber 100, and various smaller ancillary rooms. Many organisations hire the Hall for fund-raising events, meetings, dinners and conferences both private and public.

The hall has a theatre licence and excellent facilities for dramatic and concert performances and dances.

Kitchens are situated on both floors of the Hall.
